In Mourning

Looks like it's official: Arrested Development, the funniest show on network television, has been cancelled. The only thing keeping me from crying right now is the upcoming CBS special Riding the Bus with My Sister starring Americas' sweethearts Rosie O'Donnell and Andie MacDowell. Rosie plays an actress in search of an Emmy by playing an adorably mentally-handicapped woman who, uh, rides the bus with her sister. The scene where she asks for a transfer to the 64 Express is heartbreaking and poignant. And the scene where the homeless man falls asleep on her is touching and humorous.

I need to go mourn now. Why can't America get behind quality TV? Why yes on "Yes, Dear" and no on "Arrested Development"? It's not fair!

I will miss Arrested Development, it was one of the funniest shows ever. I would rank it right up there with Sports Night, and News Radio. Do you have any other favorites?

Oh my God, for real?
I've been hearing about this sh*t of Arrested Development being on a brink of cancellation but all i've found so far it's that it returns once again this next summer but not with new episodes, only re-runs. So sad, i guess i'll have to catch with Desperate Housewives altough i didn't like it :(.

P.D.
I finally saw your appearence in the Wendy's commercial, and i was like "oh my god, it's that pretty lady from TechTV that was in Martin Sargent's show!!!"... then i tapped it on VHS :p.

O.K....Rosie O'Donnell as a "Blossom" hat wearin' special needs person??? Where's Joey when you need him to slap the s*it out of his "special needs" sis???? O.K., who REALLY thought it would be plausible for all of us to believe that Rosie could play a person who is at least one pretty and normal chromosome away from Andie Macdowell, curly mullet not withstanding. Thanks for the recommendation Laura but...ummm, no. About the only thing Rosie can pull off in this mess of an after school special wannabe are the tube socks-in-the middle-of the-night-at the-bus stop, and for that, I say...you go girl!!!

P.S... ummm, what was that dirt she (Rosie) was eating in that flashback???? I almost puked up 3/4 of the Margaritas I've consumed tonight....

I don't think all is lost. I read that FOX won't be announcing their official renewals until May 19, so there's a little hope. BUY THE DVD!!!
