Photoshop-Challenged

I had an idea for a post involving placing a handful of pics side by side to one another, and I fiddled for about 10 minutes before I realized I didn't know what I was doing. Also, any pics I import to a new file turn grey because I need to input the color settings.

So this post is just a post to say I'm thinking about another post but don't know how to do it. If you know how to describe this process to a 2-year-old, feel free to let me know. Be as condescending as you'd like.

And now I must run off.

First off, yea for someone who also spells grey with an 'e'! I was ostracized for this as a young boy but it's good to others who are different like me.

Tom, the Bayesian spam filter in my brain just exploded. I wouldn't click that link with a 10 foot browser. (OK, I clicked it. It's a real estate site.)

Laura, input color settings? Waugh? That doesn't sound like it should be happening. Photoshop is a bit on the unfriendly side but it shouldn't be too terribly hard to open a picture. Sounds like something is... awry. I have used it from time to time, mostly to place my friends heads on farm animals. It's not that easy and they put simple things in strange places.

Hey wait, isn't Tom Weezy's friend from MySpace?

As requested here's how I would explain the process to a 2 year old.

Ok here, hold the mousey - no like this, yeah ok now - move it over... no like this - ok see that thing there? Yeah move it over to that - ok now press this; no just this one here. Right it clicks - hear it? Ok now - no move back and click that thing again - like this; gimme that - ok no no this is fun come back here - ok take the mouse - this thing here; I know honey it doesn't look like a mouse, it's okay - here ok now click that and hold it and move it alllllll the way - you let it go. Here look click that - no not that one, the other butto... no not properties oh god look out. Give me that. Here let me show you - come back here!

Hope this helps!

Since this is for a blogpost are you trying to make one large pics that is composed of several smaller pics? I think that would be easier since doing it that way you don’t have to deal with HTML madness like tables.

Yes David. That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I'm still failing. But I did learn how to make clouds yesterday.
