I was down in Los Angeles on Monday to attend a benefit dinner for FSMA (Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy) to celebrate the "House" episode "97 Seconds", which deals with the genetic disorder. One of the producer's children has SMA so it made the evening that much more personal and touching, and I'm not one who finds many things personal or touching.
I had a chance to talk to the cast and creators of the show about "97 Seconds" and what it meant to them, and the interview is now posted on TV.com. Sheck it out. And then make a small donation to help them find a cure. Pretty please.
