I need song suggestions for various themes. For example, Songs About Wanting to Get into Someone's Pants might include the following: Let's Get it On, Let's Spend the Night Together, I Want You Now, NIN's I Want to F You Like an Animal...and so on.
Here are some random themes I'd like suggestions on, if you have any ideas:
Songs About Someone's Horrible Body Odor/Bad Smells
Songs About Strippers/Stripping
Songs About Ugly People
Songs that contain the message: I'm not interested in you
Remember when I said Arrested Development was cancelled? Looks like I was wrong. My information came from someone looking at an LA Times article who said, "It looks like AD's cancelled." I think the article just mentioned it was pulled off the air, not necessarily cancelled. Then I ran to my computer and announced the show's cancellation. Today I read some news that kind of contradicts my lil' announcement. Looks like the show might be picked up after all. Yay!
Earlier in the week I met with some folks from NPACH, the National Policy and Advocacy Council on Homelessness. To protect their privacy, I'll just call them Rob and Brad. Rob and Brad are going to hold a benefit here in Los Angeles (date to be determined) to raise money and awareness of the homeless problem. I tried to explain to them that we in Los Angeles are already well aware of the homeless on account of the fact that they practice yoga on sidewalks and oftentimes communicate with aliens wearing helmets equipped with special antennae. They then explained to me that there are also a lot of homeless families and homeless children in dire need of affordable housing. I said, "If you believe that, then I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you," and I took off.
Okay, that didn't really happen; I didn't take off. But I did agree to try and help them out here in Los Angeles, taking advantage of my political clout and numerous Hollywood connections.
Why am I telling you all this? Well, we're/they're trying to come up with innovative ways to raise awareness of the issues on a grassroots level. I suggested blogging as one possible tool, and pal Matt Hartley one-upped me with a suggestion of audio blogging.
Anyway, I might come to you guys for suggestions in the future. Or, like, now if any come to mind.
I'm now going to get some lunch.
