Treasonous

I think it's clear to everyone who's been following the controversy that Eva Longoria should have received an Emmy nomination. Until this is resolved, Judith Miller should stay in jail. End of story.

I am currently without an ATM card. After $400 dollars in flowers were charged to my debit card, my bank's fraud department gave me a call. I said, "I don't buy flowers. Ever." Nevertheless, $400 was taken out of my account. Next step is to contact their research department so they can determine if these charges are, indeed, illegitimate. I hate that this decision is up to a research department. At the bank. They're the idiots who allow breaches in security on a seemingly near-daily basis. And yet it's the consumer who gets screwed over.

Also, this is the second time this has happened to me. On both occasions my cards remained in my posession, and the thief attempted online purchases (okay, in this case they got away with it). This does not include the time I was the subject of identity fraud. What a wonderful technical world we live in.

DAILY SHOW UPDATE
Not happening. I'm pretty sure you'll see their ratings decline once America finds out I won't be a part of it.

AND A PLEA FROM WEEZY
I would like to introduce a new feature on Weezy and the Swish which we will call "I.M. Theatre." If you have experienced an interesting and/or invigorating I.M. discussion with a friend/co-worker/lover/adversary/all of the above, recently and it is saved somewhere on your computer, please email it to us at weezyandtheswish@gmail.com, or just click on that button to your left which reads "email us." Laura and I will theatrically perform your I.M. chat. Read that to mean, we will enthusiastically overact it. So, please embarrass yourself and a loved one by sending us your I.M.s. And, thank you.

Be safe tonight.

I think you are in your house right now surrounded by $400 dollars worth of flowers right now. Identity theft? Right. Your ego's charging credit cards, your body can't afford.

So, did you get my flowers?

That's terrible news about the debit card, Laura. I had fradulent charges against my Discover card once, but they were only around $250 and Discover took them off no problem. I prefer to use credit cards since the money doesn't come directly out of my bank account. It gives me a chance to re-approve everything.

Well I guess the Daily Show was a longshot, dream jobs are like that. I think the fact you were considered was pretty cool, and very encouraging. This just means there's a better job around the corner.

Eva Longoria is hot. This is all I know. I try to keep my world simple.

I recently took my MAT's for grad school & found that someone had already taken them using my info. Unfortunately they wouldn't tell me what scores that person got so that I might use them if they did better. If someone steals your identity I think you should be able use anything that benefits you from their illegal acts against you.
