Now that was just funny, sweet, and cute. Thank you.

Also, from the NY Times, besides a famous Japanese-American passing away is the story of a famous Japanese citizen passing away. Momofuku Ando, who in 1958 invented (drum roll please),...the Ramen Noodle! Worldwide legions of college students have been asked to bow their heads in a moment (actually 3 minutes, long enough for your noodles to boil, as if you didn't already know that) of silence for the man who got so many of us through finals weeks, nay!, SEMESTERS, of school and survive starvation when such critical choices as "beer or food?" had to be made. Many a college student has lived to graduate and pay off student loans because of his willingness to sell noodle packets at 10 for a dollar! So, whether you are a Trojan, or a Volunteer, or a Gator (thanks guys, I needed that!), please take a moment of your time to offer up a 21-bong salute to Mr. Ando, and don't worry about the munchies. I had five dollars, so I brought a whole case!

I never cared much for Scooby-Doodoo. But I liked Astro. Muttley was ok -- though he could be a bit smug at times.

I suspect foul play in all three cases.

What a series of blows to my birth cohort.

I'm glad to see Laura posting again. I was afraid she abandoned us or her toe injury was more serious than one might expect.
I'm glad she was only waiting for somebody to die.

Ponti. De Carlo. This is a bad week for Italians. I hope Gandolfini and the rest of the "Sopranos" cast are taking care of themselves.
