Darn Good Job There

Palin did an AMAZING job last night! To quote Heidi Klum, I'm all "verklempt". Did you guys witness it? Her performance rivaled that of Phil Hartman's Caveman Lawyer.

CIRROC, CAVEMAN LAWYER: Thank you! Thank you very much, thank you! First of all, let me say how happy I am to be your nominee for the United States Senate! [ applause ] You know.. thank you.. I don't really understand your Congress, or your system of checks and balances.. because, as I said during the campaign - I'm just a caveman! I fell on some ice, and later got thawed out by scientists. But there is one thing I do know - we must do everything in our power to lower the Capitol Gains Tax. Thank you!

And now, the next Vice President of the United States from last night's debates:

PALIN: Oh, yeah, it's so obvious I'm a Washington outsider. And someone just not used to the way you guys operate. Because here you voted for the war and now you oppose the war. You're one who says, as so many politicians do, I was for it before I was against it or vice- versa. Americans are craving that straight talk and just want to know, hey, if you voted for it, tell us why you voted for it and it was a war resolution.

Am I right, or am I really right?

Winky McCharo had me nodding off during her segments. As a moose eating hockey mom who hates witches, I thought she would represent my values more than Team Surrender. But I guess my attention can only be held for so... oh, Nascar is on. I hoped to see a crash tonight, maybe they will have one instead.

I thought Joe crushed her. I really didn't know a whole lot about him before tonight but he danced around her like Sugar Ray Robinson. He did much better than Obama when it comes to counter-punching the rhetoric she read from her cards. She's not an idiot, but she was totally outclassed. I hope Obama can learn a thing or two and do the same to McCain on Tuesday.
