McCain's Spain Problem

McCain's antipathy toward NATO ally Spain isn't a recent development. Back in September he refused to say whether he would meet with Zapatero, the prime minister of Spain. At the time people thought it was a gaffe, that he got confused and thought Zapatero was a Latin American leader. I'm embarrassed to say I thought the same thing. A recent article in the LA Times suggests McAngry has harbored a seething hatred of the Iberian Peninsula since the 1960s, when he launched a kamikaze attack:
In his most serious lapse, McCain was "clowning" around in a Skyraider over southern Spain about December 1961 and flew into electrical wires, causing a blackout, according to McCain's own account as well as those of naval officers and enlistees aboard the carrier Intrepid.

Even more disturbing is when he ATTACKED AMERICA: "In another incident, in 1965, McCain crashed a T-2 trainer jet in Virginia."

He's been acting petulant and angry lately. When might he attack next?
