My Little Pole Dancer

This is an actual news story. I'm jealous I didn't come up with this myself. Just genius. I think this toy is ahead of its time. Give it a year or two and six year old girls will be playing stripper.

Why would parents let their kids shop online alone when they are so afraid of Myspace and U. S. Congressmen?
Are they giving them credit cards or something? Aren't they just as afraid the little ones might buy wine or a chainsaw or (god forbid) a gansta rap cd?
Regardless, I think that with a motto like "every little helps" Tesco was asking for trouble.
I find it really sad that the quality of kids toys has gotten so poor that people are afraid no-one would be able to tell what is and isn't one.

Pole Ad!

I love it. Best toy ever. Even has 100 Peekaboo dance dollars. It's actually not a kids toy Tesco Direct is just extremely dumb for selling it as one. I suggest you try the Peekaboo Lapdancing Kit instead.

[sarcasm] I don’t see any sharp edges, lead paint or small parts. Am I missing something? [/sarcasm]

I liked the comment in the news story by Dr. Adrian Rogers of Family Focus:

This should only be available to the most depraved people who want to corrupt their children.

Huh. Now that's a law and order perspective you don't see very often.

This is kind of like the 911 candy dispensers that appeared in Florida last year. No human being on earth is going to come forward and accept responsibility for inventing, creating, packaging or distributing something like this. This teeters on wry and predatorial. I give this product and it's creators two thumbs down. Execute.
