Just a Thought

As I struggled today to write something heartfelt (quite difficult for me) that bordered on melodramatic, I wondered, "Why is it we always have to write about peoples' battles with cancer?" People are always battling cancer. No one ever writes about a skirmish, or an altercation with the disease. Always a battle. And I suspect some battles are actually a little overblown. Okay, I'm going back to writing something treacly.

I don't know if what Laura wrote is all that bad. It's a common theory that the immune systems of all us humans are constant destroy defective cells that could potential become cancerous if allowed to survive.
Plus, if she gets called on it, she can always blame the tiff she's having with turrets.

I'm personally planning a preemptive strike on cancer. I have intelligence that shows that it has been trying to obtain WMD's from Africa.

Or was that AIDS? Oh well who cares. Cancer hates freedom and must be liberated.

Hell is over rated. It's not really that hot.

Cancer is not the problem, it's the dying part that's irriatating. If we could win the battle against death, then that's a charity worth donating to.

swisher for class president ... yup yup :)
