So Very Tired...

It's hard work going out every night with friends, and yet I'm doing it. I haven't seen as many movies this year as I did last year but so far nothing's really blowing me away. Surprisingly, "Helvetica" is the best movie I've seen thus far. I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in art and culture and how art and culture intersect with commerce and consumerism. And that description doesn't do it justice because it's more interesting than that makes it sound.

Running out the door to check out a secret performance of Isaac Hayes. Shhhhh. Don't say anything. Will upload some pics if Blogger ever allows me to do so.

I guess that makes two of us.

Two that like "Helvetica" or two that run around with friends?

Hah, two that are "So very tired". But I'll be sure to check out Helvetica, having done graphic design for a few years.

I have been known to run around with friends from time to time. In fact I'll be at a party tomorrow with a friend who ... apparently... had the office next to yours at Helio. We seem to have adjacent circles of friends.

I used to like TImes New Roman but I've become an Arial guy all the way.

You know, I find that so funny. Times is the default for all the MS Office crap and it pisses me off because I prefer sans serif fonts.

Can one be a typography nerd?

I'm hoping a movie will come out cracking the code behind the shapes and symbols of Wingdings.
