Wishful Thinking

My plan was to be in line to vote at 7am this morning. It's 7:31am right now and I'm checking email, perusing some blogs and thinking that it's kind of cold out (60 degrees!). Okay. I'm going to do it. I'm going to put on my running shoes and jog over to my polling station which, according to Google Maps, is .7 miles from my house. Here I go...

Wrapping up.

Should I get coffee first?

No. I must exercise and then exercise my right to vote.

I think I'll bring a book in case there's a line. Will there be a line? Should I bring a backpack filled with items to make cut down on boredom?

Okay. Here I go. I'm going.

I am NOT going to get back into bed.

Off to vote.

I really am.

Way to overpower the will to climb back into that nice, warm, cozy bed. I beat the crowds & did the absentee thing. I've seen on the news today where ppl have books, tv's, Psp's & all kinds of time wasters. Lines are about 2-3 hours long here in my town. ppl even have lawn chairs. Power to em.

I voted last week. Permanent Absentee voting! I love it when our government encourages me to me lazy.
